In this article, we’ll show you how to generate meta titles with ChatGPT and Store Manager for PrestaShop software. Before we proceed with the task, let’s check the data we have now.
In the screenshot below, you can see my PrestaShop products along with current meta data. As you can see, the meta title is missing.
Let’s check this product in the PrestaShop admin. Same here, no meta title here ether.
Step 1: Create Your Own Prompt
To generate meta titles in bulk, let’s start with Prompt editing. To do this, go to ChatGPT menu and open the PromptBook.
In this window, you will see a list of prompts available at the moment that can be applied massively, and you can create your own prompt depending on your business needs. We’re going to use the prompt that allows us to generate PrestaShop meta titles based on product name.
Step 2: Insert the Desired Macro In the Prompt
Our target field is Product Meta Title. That is the field that the result will be saved into. Also, here you can find a macros list with product fields that can be used for data generation. We’ll add a product name macro to our prompt.
Play around with your prompt to make sure it allows you to generate the perfect meta data. Note that the length is limited to 70 characters. If you have any other specific requirements, make sure to include them in the prompt as well. Do not forget to hit “Apply” to save changes before you proceed.
Step 3: Go to the ChatGPT Mass Changer
Once you are done with your prompt, go back to the products list, and select items that you would like to apply this prompt to. We recommend selecting a few products first to check the result before applying this prompt to all goods.
To run the process, use the ChatGPT button.
Step 4: Choose a Prompt and an Action
Here you can see the list of products that we have just selected. You can choose the prompt that you would like to apply and the action to be performed.
Step 5: Go to Chat GPT Tasks Queue
Let’s run the process and go to the Tasks Queue to see ChatGPT in action.
In this window, you can see the list of products and tasks that are being executed and the Response from ChatGPT before applying it to your products. The status is changed from Pending to Generated once the process is complete.
Step 6: Apply the Result
If you’re satisfied with the result, hit “Apply” for each product one by one or in bulk.
Step 7: Check the Store for Changes
Let’s check the result now.
Here you can see the generated meta title. It can contain a call to action or be more specific and contain features or any other data. You can adjust what data should be included in your prompt.
Also let’s check one product in PrestaShop admin. Do not forget to refresh the page to see the result.
You can perform this action for all your products in bulk, generate any other data, translate product information into multiple languages, or enrich, proofread, or perform a spell check for your current product data using ChatGPT in bulk.
